- Please be prepared to clean up after your dog.
Wag 'n' Walk is Whidbey Animals' Improvement Foundation's celebration of the rescue efforts of Island County's residents.
The 9th Wag 'n' Walk is hosted by WAIF in cooperation with OldDog Haven. It is scheduled to be held on August 23rd from 11am to 2pm at beautiful Greenbank Farm on Whidbey Island. It is adjacent to the Greenbank Farm Farmer's Market, Greenbank Farm Shops, and Whidbey Pies Cafe.
Greenbank Farm will fill up with two and four legged friends, walking one of two routes: The "old dog" route and a longer walk for those with more energy. Along the way, be sure to play the "dog walk poker" game!
In addition to the walk, we'll have games, demonstrations, and activities for dogs and their friends. So, even if you don't want to walk, make sure and check out our fun fundraiser game area during Wag 'n' Walk.
We look forward to meeting you at this year's Wag 'n' Walk. Please take a minute to register now.
KING and QUEEN Contest — If you have adopted a dog from WAIF, we would love to hear how he or she is doing. Please send us a short essay about how your new family member has touched your life. We will display a number of entries at the Wag n Walk, and crown the winners in a special presentation.
Please email your entry to wagnwalk@waifanimals.org with the subject "King and Queen Contest." Please include a photo of your dog with your family. If you would prefer to send a paper entry, please mail it to:
