Driving Directions to
the Oak Harbor Animal Shelter

In Oak Harbor, drive east on Pioneer Way to the entrance to NAS Seaplane Base. After access is granted at the gate, you will be traveling on Maui Avenue. Continue on Maui Avenue, which turns into Coral Sea Avenue. Travel past the Navy Exchange and Commissary, and turn left on Tulagi Avenue. Continue to the end of Tulagi Avenue, and you will see the Animal Shelter will be on your right - just across from Navy Marina.

Access to Naval Air Station:

In order to gain access to the Naval Air Station, at the gate, you must show Driver’s License, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance for your vehicle. Access to visit the Animal Shelter is allowed only during Shelter hours. It is also recommended that your adult passengers carry ID as well.
